THE HORRY'S OF SCOTLAND

	Horry, John born 1738 died after 1782 in Georgia. He immigrated from Orkney Islands Scotland to Savannah, Georgia in November of 1774 aboard the ship "Marlborough" with wife Jean Buchan, daughter Jean Horry and son William Horry.
	Buchan, Jean was born about 1742.
	Horry, Jean was born in Scotland in 1762.
	Horry, William was born in Scotland in 1760. He was baptized Firth Stenness on February 5, 1764.

John Horry served as a Private during the Revolutionary War with the King's Rangers in Savannah and was on the muster roll from April 24, 1774 to June 24, 1774.
