Interesting, dark, sophisticated, English techno - usually very listenable, smooth, and danceable. Have been around awhile but really started putting out records in mid-nineties. First domestic release was dubnobasswithmyheadman in 1994. Followed by Second Toughest in the Infants in 1996. Newest is 1999's Beaucou Fish. These are all excellent records which invite repeated listenings. There's also lots of imports, EPs, etc. They got some significant notice from the song "Born Slippy" on the Trainspotting soundtrack. These guys are also graphics designers. Check out their website. I'm not usually impressed by fancy website design, but their site is very unique and interesting. The Classic Records section on the Music Resources page is a large and interesting list of classic dance records, with reviews and weblinks. I'm not sure what to think about them, but I keep going back to their records.
