About The Parking Meter Page

The Parking Meter Page is best viewed at a resolution of 800 x 600 dpi. It has been tested with Internet Explorer 3.02, Netscape Communicator 4.01a, AOLPress 2.0, and America Online 3.0. Maximum resolution tested by me is 1280 x 1024. 

For those of you who care about such things, the site was created using Corel WordPerfect 8, Corel Photo House, Netscape Composer, Win95 Notepad and Win 95 Paint. Some photographs were taken with a Kodak DC120 Digital Camera. Other photos were scanned from original prints at a local Kinko's copy shop. 

As the site's purpose is to inform rather than dazzle, graphics have been kept to a minimum. What graphics I have used, I've tried to keep as small as possible. Load time, consistent layout, easy reading and navigation were of greater importance to me than flashy graphics. I believe in the K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple, Stupid!) system. 

The Parking Meter Page is now hosted by Internet Oklahoma (ioNET), after being moved from America Online on March 15, 1998. Be sure and visit the ioNET web site at http://www.ionet.net.  And if you sign up with them, tell them I sent you...
