Fishing Conditions/Reports
|
|
The water levels at the area Lakes still remain low, as runoff volumes are the lowest in many years.
Local Flyfishers have had good success in the early morning/late evening times with a variety of
patterns. Specifically, hopper patterns and rubber-legged poppers seem to be very productive in the late afternoon to early evenings. Streamer patterns are working during the day when fished to deeper drop-offs and worked up into the shallows. The Productive patterns are:
Dave's Hopper (12/14)
Stimulator Orange (10)
Clouser Minnow (10/8) tied with chartreuse/white maribou
Chrome Dome (10) both gold and silver
Popper (12/10/8) with yellow in the daytime shifting to black in the evening
Good luck - Remember to 'Catch-and-Release' so others can share the fun!!!!
